Faire en sorte que l'union soit un vecteur d'harmonie, c'est bien ; rappeler que l'union, c'est la force — et avant tout la force —, c'est beaucoup mieux et c'est justement ce que fait Sanguinária dans Árias Sanguíneas. Pour cette deuxième création, le groupe finlandais diversifie son arsenal, ajoute pianos et chorales synthétiques à son orgue gothique. Mais Árias Sanguíneas est surtout beaucoup plus direct : riffs autant que chants rappellent le punk/black metal québécois. Des bonnes claques !

Abysmal Specter est un expert ès châteaux : avec Curta'n Wall, il en détaille les fondations (... pour mieux les pulvériser) et avec Old Nick, il explore les cryptes et les objets magiques qui s'y trouvent. Il s'avère qu'il a un autre projet, Bloody Keep, qui lui permet de s'intéresser aux châteaux habités par les vampires. Mais on ne parle pas de ceux au teint blafard : le raw black metal de Cup of Blood in the Top of the Tower est passionné. Un premier E.P. qui donne la couleur : rouge sang !
